If you’re just curious, or possibly hoping to drop in on us somewhere, this is where you can find information on our prospective itinerary. We’ll update this occasionally – possibly infrequently as we’re often too distracted either enjoying the cruising or working hard to keep boat, body and mind together. But we will try. And if you really intend to drop in, drop us a line and let us know! The sooner the better. The early bird gets the berth. Please also understand that everything is subject to weather and the whims of Wasco’s steering committee.
As of this writing, April 12, 2018 we’re in Moreton Bay outside Brisbane, Australia. We’re waiting for the northerlies to die down and turn back to the seasonal SE’lies then we’ll make our way north to the Great Barrier Reef.
Queensland Coast: We’ll spend the remainder of April and the first week of May on the southern Queensland Coast.
Whitsunday Islands: mid-May should find us in the Whitsundays. Once we get there we’ll figure out exactly how long we’ll spend there.
Torres Straits and Northern Territory: July should find us going ‘over the top’ of Australia, ultimate destination Darwin (or maybe even Broome).
Indian Ocean: August – October we’ll be crossing the Indian Ocean. Current itinerary includes Cocos-Keeling, Reunion, Mauritius, and then South Africa.
Onward Possibilities: From South Africa to the Caribbean, through the Canal, Hawaii, Alaska, California
